To pay the CGT, if they sell MIN shares (November 2023) it will put pressure on the MIN price.
However, with a lot of people needing to raise $$, it's not just a matter of x number of shares being sold.
It's possibly thousands of MIN holder's selling about the same time and just wanting their cash so it will put even more pressure on the MIN price.

I conjectured in another post that MIN holders should consider selling MIN and buy NWE but my post got nuked for "other".
Consider = research = not advice.
Much more upside to NWE if we hit gas - IMO only.

If / when NWE hit gas, and whats that black oily stuff, I think there will be a lot of unhappy new MIN shareholders.

It would appear that the main reason for the sp drop is Lithium dropping 8% or so in a hurry. Isn't it great having a gas explorer tied to the Li price (not). I have had a look at the buy depth in MIN and I am wondering where the support is. This could go down as one of the larger con jobs in recent corporate history. IMHO.
