@marketmaker.... you are 110% correct ! My SMSF will get approx $55k in cash (to do something useful with) And my wife will get approx $41k, which will go towards a new or demonstrator Isuzu MUX.
My SMSF doesnt need the cash, and at this stage of the investment cycle I havent a clue where it will go, but wherever it does, it will have to be more profitable than leaving it with JB.
I have done fairly well on a couple of LICs since the dip and am kicking myself for not having 100% foresight and for not backing the truck up, but I don’t think the next 6 months are going to be as profitable as the last 6 months (in terms of opportunity gains that is) and it will be a case of getting the money in the hand to speak, and then seeing what opportunities arise. The last buyback from Watermark couldn’t have come at a better time !
