Just doing some quick sums with the data available on Commsec, all round, the Board now holds just under 16% of the total shares on issue (including options)
I would have to rely on someone like @Zior , but I think 20% is the first magic figure where shareholders (of any type) can form an "association" to control or block any aggressive new substantial shareholder.
Anyway, as others have already mentioned, I think this is just a vote of confidence by the board in the future of DRE.
