why sell on mkt to fund xxx?? Ceo sells every flamboyant on here (u know the deviants) cry foul (the world of oil is ending). Next, why sell something at mkt that u KNOW is worth multiples more?? But you want the ca$h now. Easy, loan on it because now you can (banks willing to accept it as collateral so it's been derisked massively) and obtain cash now but hold on to the future upside that you know is coming. This is a strong BUY signal to me. Each to their own.
this is not an URW situation (mr buillionaire frenchman engaged in all forms of complex swaps n loans to short sell his own stock)....this is a simple equity extraction strategy while retaining ownership for future upside. Clear as day.
