I actually saw this differently to you. The previous time I felt like the boss was actually holding the share price up a bit, not so much for him to make profits about future news events but he saw his company as undervalued. Yes it did run over 60 cents at that time but since fell back to around 20 cents, did he offload any ? Not from what I could see.

I suspect now it is the same reason, here and now producing copper and improving the business model at the same time is a good reason to buy the shares regardless of unknown future news events.

I think if he had the money he might want to own all the shares at some stage considering the underhanded trading that goes on supress a share price for other parties to gain when they are ready, this does go on I am certain, no wonder really good companies go private at times.

Forgive my memory but I thought that you Suni were previously very positive on AR1 ?
