He can't control North Slope or DOG news, but probably has an inclination of what lies ahead.
However a T/O is NOT out of the question.
3.6 billion barrels is mighty tempting....we'll be taken out, but PB will stick it out with his minority interest.
Could be the plan all along BEX / 88e doesn't really attract much attention for the early field work and is able to TAP the market without much fuss.
Hope I'm wrong.... but we'll still do well out of it.
