NO. AA had 23.19% of HUM on 11/6/22, and the same % was reported at 31/8/22in the annual report. His substantial shareholder notice on 11/4/23 showed this increased to 24.22%. This morning’s notice takes him to 24.77%, on my calculations.
He is allowed to buy 3% per 6 months: thus he is still allowed to increase up to 26.19% i.e. he can buy NOW (at least) (23.19% + 3.0% - 24.77%) = 1.42% x 504m shares = 7.2m shares (at least).
In fact the notice on 11/4/23 showed that he bought 3.34m on 7 October 22, so the base level today for the 6 month rule would be 23.49% rather than 23.19%. Thus he could NOW buy up to 26.49% i.e. another 1.72% thus 8.7m more HUM shares.
