I don't think this bloke is going to take his LIC private. The public nature of it is a financial benefit to him. I do wonder why/how he chooses the quantity/value of shares to buy. Seems a bit random when he does. At this price point it is still good value and the market just hasn't woken up to it yet. Makes sense that he would invest a few extras dollars of loose change in his own enterprise.
