If i was a guessing man and it is only a guess, id say they been talking to well specialist about pressure and that phone/teams/zoom conversation might have gone pretty well (pardon the pun).
Possible they are trying to support price but seems very unlikely knowing they will news (good or bad) coming soon which would mitigate any support a share purchase news offers.
