After searching for every oil/gas company listed on Market...

After searching for every oil/gas company listed on Market Index, I found 38 companies (besides MAY) where a Director made an on-market purchase.

Of those 38, there were 10 purchases for a consideration of $100,000 or more - see yellow rows below.

Of those 10 purchases, 6 now fetch a higher spot price (than the Director's purchase), and 4 have a lower price.

Can AP's $100K purchase make it 7 out of 11 companies?

The two biggest gains (by percentage) came after purchases by Managing Directors:

• Julian Fowles - Managing Director of KAR ($100K purchase, 106.3% gain)
• Christopher Hodge - Managing Director of HZN ($516K purchase, 51.7% gain)

I hope HotCopper doesn't mangle the formatting of this table, but there are some disclaimers/fine print with the calculations:

Some companies had multiple directors with multiple on-market buys; this table shows only the most recent purchase.

Only on-market trades (as recorded by Market Index) were included. Off-market trades, transfers, rights issues, placements etc. were excluded.

If there were any stock consolidations/splits between the purchase date and today, then some table rows would be misleading.
