Here is my call in June last year. Totally backs up my recent post and what I have written below..
The opportunity cost of holding gold and silver is reduced as interest rates fall. If we ever see negative interest rates in the US Gold and Silver will be well over $5,000. Another thing worth thinking about is that perhaps Zuckerberg might back his crypto currency with 20% gold sending Gold and Silver skyrocketing, but such a thing has not happened yet. The main reason is that the US FED has acted due to a slowing global economy causing a few concerns in liquidity and overnight lending rates. Ask yourself what was happening when rates were rising, gold and silver were performing poorly. Ask yourself what has happened in the past year or so when rates have been reducing Gold and Silver has performed well.
