While I'd love a $1+ to be the figure, I think the days of AZS and LTR style takeover premiums are over for quite a while, and may never return.
At the moment I think $0.50-$0.75 would probably be enough to take it out unless you have a couple parties that really want it.
Fortescue is an interesting one. Thier lithium deposit adjacent doenst appear to be big enough for stand alone mining by a big company. They would see a lot of benefits in a WC8 takeover given they could accelerate a mine and plant on Tabba to service both mines. The combined scale would be large enough for them if they wanted to enter the Lithium arena.
PLS could make a play for it, but they have just picked up LRS, and really they have so much expansion potential at Pilgangora, you would have to ask why would they want another project that offers nothing more than what they already have. If the price is right they would make a offer, but don't think they will chase it much.
if I was a betting man I would say Fortescue and Min would be the ones to make a move, with Gina and PLS wildcards depending on price. MIN will definitely push for a mining services contract for thier acceptance of an offer if FMG, PLS or Gina take it.
