Why wouldn't he be looking forwards, it's what he's always done. I'd be surprised if he didn't retain a GXY board position purely due to his Asian connections and significant holding... As for the day to day operations and company strategy, pretty clear he was moved aside and put in a box. That's the thanks you get... As for GXY's mine manager Brian Talbot being placed on the LPD board, well pretty obvious what the play was - Monetise the mica stocks of MtC. It's being dug up in bulk quantities and separated out of the concentrate, to sit there in stock piles containing a large amount of Lithium. Seems a no brainer to me. MtC is a mediocre asset at best, that's why you went looking next door at A20 and have had to optimise the hell out of MtC (quite successfully to their credit), the first mover advantage has long eroded and both SDV and JB are years away from producing a BG Lithium product. Why not help these guys LPD along in the form of a "strategic alliance" and we'll get the inside track of converting some of our mica stockpiles into revenue.... Before someone jumps at the chance. It is literally millions of dollars worth of revenue sitting there in piles, totally worthless for the foreseeable future. But then it came time to actually put some money down for R&D, GXY shirked and the "Alliance" soured. AT was shown the door, Brian Talbot was asked to leave the board of LPD, LPD went and secured its own independent supply, GXY divested its LPD holdings and here we are. I can't help but think that the new GXY management and direction has really screwed the pooch on a great opportunity. But that is just my opinion and time will be the ultimate judge.

I don’t blame you for pumping LPD, I have a few too. But you don’t have to downramp GXY in the process. Remember which company is actually making money, has money to spend and world class assets. I’m not arguing that LPD doesn’t have potential in its tech but “years away” can be bandied about to describe not just the limitations on GXY (though we also might be surprised at the speed carbonate is produced at SDV going by recent announcements). If this mica process was as simple and cost effective as you make out it would’ve been done by now.
