Margins have been squeezed over the last 6 months due to the property market downturn and the drop in fees to win work. This is the story in the residential market but government infrastructure work is going strong. Veris are well diversified so they should ride through the downturn. Since the election, there seems to have been a positive change to sentiment with developers which is a good sign.
