Agree with you on the general malaise and the potential for indigestion following the acquisition of Delta Ag. What's frustrating though is these are maybe's that will be flushed out in the half yearly whereas the improvement in livestock indicators and farming input stats are facts. You would think that actualities would swing the balance in favour of a higher share price over possibilities......You would also think a bit of shareholder communication would be in order following the first quarter....
We will see soon enough. Only 3 weeks or so to go before the end of ELD half year. They are not known for constant market releases and updates but it would be nice to get a little trading update. Instead we are left to guess all things are playing out as per the outlook in the Investor Day Presentation from November.
First Q of FY24 was a shocker. You would think that they might have wanted to communicate that they are doing better this year (assuming they are). But we get nothing...nada...zip....inside of a donut. It makes me nervous, but that's investing I guess.
Still Buy rated for mine.
