I don't know about in US AIG but the bottom line of those in the board had been insulate far too long, and no idea what the reality outside of Ivory Tower, and there is an obvious way to solve the problem but the board memembers all thinks they know the best, better, igonor the so basic obvious way. Pity, pity, to watch very sad, sad! disclaimer with my humble 2 cents of worth!
