No matter how you look at bonuses including shares, options etc. they do not benefit shareholders in the long run. They are simply designed by a select few to favour the same select few. Rampant capitalism which we have, does not benefit society as a whole, nor the majority within a company. Anyone who can not make a 100% effort for a generous salary to benefit all, especially the stakeholders, is not worth employing. Australia has to somehow rein in rampant capitalism with a far more equitable approach to economic policy, without foregoing some form reasonable incentive,
