Liberation Day. Most of Ansell's production units are offshore USA inc. the recently purchased Kimberly Clark business (28 production units in North America including Canada and possibly its plants in Mexico contra 54 PUs outside NA) yet eps etc are quoted in usd as much if not most of ANN's sales occur in the US. So all those various offshore USA PUs exporting product to the US will be copping a new tariff. Liberation Day? Hardly. You don't have to look too far past Australia's experience of using tariffs: lazy, ineffective management of supported businesses with a lazy, overpaid, work to rule workforce. Given the blue collar workforce in the US is already lazy and largely uneducated with a low skills base, it doesn't take much imagination to see where this liberation is heading.
