These director's purchases look like the sort of think you do if you are delegated to show the flag, and it's a pretty limp and tattered flag flying at half mast.

As someone with geotechnical expertise, I would be interested to know what sort of ground conditions caused the blowout or is that just a convenient obscure whipping boy? It's a solar farm for goodness sake, not a dam or a 20 story building.
Or was it the other way, and all the services had to be cut through solid rock?

If the ground conditions were a significant factor, how come they didn't tell anyone.
Such problems should have come to light reasonably early on in the project.
Did RCR take on the risk of the ground conditions without any investigation of the site?
