    Speaking of Diane, her CV looks appropriate for the company.

    The company has acquired Ranger, Strike and Swick.

    She has had Board and executive experience at Westpac, AGL and ZIP among other things. So, you would think that she should be all over the challenges and issues of integrating mergers/acquisitions or not integrating them. You would think of the travails of integrating the Bank of Melbourne. The mooted AGL demerger. The issues around the decision to take over SZL and then thedecision not to.

    Then you look at the DDH board and management team and you find 4 founders- count them- DDH1, Ranger, Strike and Swick. Four founding fathers and all brilliant men with deep industry experience. Two of these men, according to the website, "retains overall operational and financial performance of the... entity"

    Can you see where I am going with this? It would require considerable 'soft' skills to get the best out of the parts to get the synergies out of these four quality businesses and their capable founders. None of the words used here indicate sarcasm- the board and management look first class as individuals.

    I have been averaging down and I am happy with my holding and average price.

    It would not be easy but I reckon they can do it.
