Nice to have a CEO that has a stake - and that is a VERY big stake.
On the other hand... he is guaranteeing his future salary by having a stake this large. The downside risks are pretty low:
- buying at cash value
- still has a product that might be able to be sold, licenced, or approved in another area of medicine
- new product coming??
Worse case he has just worked for a year for free...
I did feel a little twitch in my pants seeing this announcement.
