The price appreciation during the past 12 months of DRM shares has certainly lead to a hefty tax bill (he held about 12 m shares during the FY and is a major shareholder). Selling some shares to pay taxes makes absolutely sense to me.
The question is rather how he should pay this hefty tax bill without disposing some shares?
