IMO - I see this as a warning bell. We are dealing with very different situation than would normally be the case for directors to buy on-market - it sometimes happen that a BOD will hold a crises meeting on a Friday afternoon to consider what damage-control actions must be taken to TRY and TRY and TRY to restore investor sentiment/confidence in the company and its management, following a massive vote of NO-confidence (drop of 13% in SP value) when they thought the SP is going to lift off.

So they all sat around the table, whisky in hand and decided that they should all buy some share on market "comes Monday" because all the dummies (investors)will then start getting on board. But they have misjudged the IQ of Mr Market.

This onmarket sharepurchase is a last gasp in an attempt to try and pull retailers (like yourself) into the net. Like another poster said, the "director's window" to purchase is open - Meaning not much, if any, further news flow for some time from hereon- nothing that will "re-rate" and "re-rate" as they had expected. The last gasp attempt is to try and lift SP so they can proceed with a CR.

I dont see why shareholders are complaining when 3 of our directors have bought shares in the company, either direct or indirect, These shares purchased are still out of there private pocket,
I can only see it as a boost of confidence for SDL and the project to happen
