"He gets free shares then sells them" - Is that like you, me and everyone else with a job getting "free" money for working? Honestly, it's called remuneration. Pretty simple concept, not that new, been happening for centuries. You know like David Choe who got 'free' Facebook shares for painting the offices in 2005. Seven years later they were worth $200M on floating.
So you're "explaining that BRN will not get a deal in the next 6 months" - Perhaps you mean you are predicting/not expecting. That the CEO didn't take out a loan for this portion of his tax liability is very far from an explanation, indeed it's not even an indicator. He is on record as being 'very confident'. The AGM question time, when the excruciating reading from prepared notes was over, was very encouraging.
