Here's a new record I will put on for you. I decided to highlight all the BUYS and SELLS on market by directors. One of the big criticisms of CEO's is they get paid like they were actually a founder of a company. they weren't and do not deserve the $$$ they make, until it aligns with SH IMO. Peter was a founder and I don't begrudge him anything. CEO's buying in to a company, shows good support and what they believe in. For those who aren't sure the red are sells, the green are buys on market like us plebs.
Now I'd much prefer to invest in a company where the CEO buys on and off market because they believe in the company, and put their money where their mouth is. For example, at the time the SP was 35c-38c and dropping, now at 32c. Didn't stop them from showing strength and belief. All IMO of course, but at least they are aligned with SH.
And before anyone complains. Hank Holland is an American CEO of an Australian company. Same rules apply, he buys and hasn't sold 1 share to pay his tax. And yes likely they are in different wealth brackets, but likely for good reasons. One shows strength and leadership, which is likely a key reason. I used this as an example to show, Sean doesn't have to sell his shares, he choses to. He choses to sell all the shares needed to pay his tax. He doesn't want his money tied up in your company, just his (free) Performance shares.
