As to the merger being approved, I have my doubts. It would make little differenc to the SH's holding both TRF and IFE but I am not one of them. IFE is limited to the Fe at Wilcherry Hill (with the side order of Mg). Fe prices are set to remain below $50 for the foreseeable future. I just don't see how IFE can ever be in the money. Even if it is, TRF has about 35% of the IFE operation anyway. TRF does, at least, have other assets - The holding in OGX may come good. The tin resource may be marketable. Who knows what else might be found in Aladin's Cave. I don't see why TRF shareholders would want to swap half of this potential for the obvious dog that IFE has become. Admin costs can be pruned back without having to merge the companies.

I have a significant holding in TRF - nil in IFE. I will be voting against merger and hope there are other holders of the same view.
