Many continue to hold simply because of not wanting to sell at the bottom. Till recently I was one of them when I had enough and got out of both ALF and WGF. Whilst ALF saw better days, WGF never ever got going. Their strategy makes no sense to a simpleton like me. Declining dividends, declining NTA and a market that continues to ignore them despite continuous buy-backs. What is the point in buying even if it is heavily discounted to NTA?
