I thoroughly agree with your synopsis of the error in their investment strategy and have commented on this previously. Shorts have equalled longs and as a consequence we are just standing still. I agree with your observation re the percentage short as opposed to long, given that the market has been rising for a number of years, one would have thought to maintain the shorts, but “as the trend is your friend” to reduce them.
I dont know that I am “grumpy”,but I am sure as hell frustrated at the performance and the seeming lack of flexibility in the managers style. Oh.... and the falling share price over the last 3 years when it should have been a monty for making money.
