The way I see this online purchase is,

The considerations and possibilities
- This is a strong vote of confidence in the company by James, it is serious money.
- This removes a large parcel of shares from retail circulation, as such more power to the board.
- This indicates that a capital raise is NOT in the near future, If one was James would simply wait.
- This indicates that a news event of substance is nearer than any possible capital raising event and James wants cheap shares.
- This indicates that the capital raise is a part of the news event and will be contained to the substantive event only.
- This could be seen as of interest and I hope he has a legitimate strategy in place.

I am actually in favour of the purchase because it reflects strong confidence, sends that signal and indicates progress, possible near term news and respite for shareholders.
