I personally see no real comparison between the two companies. AVB was sold because management wanted it sold as they were facing some headwinds at the time. The more time passes the more I think we not only did well out of AVB TO but also got out in the nick of time.
MYL owns 51% of a Top 10 mine in two commodities via Bawdwin. The ownership structure of MYL is such that no low ball offer would be likely to get up. MYL management are very much focussed on making sure shareholders get appropriate value for their investment by whatever pathway gives that value. Locrian will also grow in time to add its own value to the MYL story. I think if you give MYL a little time, three to six months, you will have a very different perspective on the company.
