Better to swing trade than day trade. Day trade is too volatile. I Swing trade. I look
at support and resistance, determine the short term catalyst that move the SP. finally plan my entry, set profit target and trailing stop percentage before I enter the market. This way there is less risk and more reward. Was a passive investor before I lost 60% of my portfolio to SGH. Was a stressful time. Make my money back on speculative stock. Now just mainly trading blue chip with lot of patient and discipline. Easy said than done. Still occasionally make the same mistake. Live and learn.
