It speaks volumes for JLG (and for Scomo's and Frydenberg's good management of the economy) that three weeks after the off-market trade of 2.5 million shares by the COO, the JLG price has risen from A$3.75 (at which he sold that c.15 per cent of his holding) to A$4.19.

The sad, devastating for many flooding in Sydney's outer west around Penrith and Pitt Town, and along the NSW mid north coast (Taree and Wingham) has also helped drive opportunities for JLG. Without being smug, I'm far from disappointed that I 'found' this company (though ought have managed to do that five years ago).

Relatively concentrated ownership and hence illiquidity is a factor but more and more it's amazing that retail investors by and large ignore these quiet achieving companies that you won't find giving 'advice' to us on social issues, unlike one passenger transport business that comes to mind. JLG just gets on with the job.
