Its an interesting point, but one the market was unperturbed by on Friday.
Also of note is the last time a director sold shares on market was on the 5th & 6th of August 2020 when Stepen Quin disposed of 120,000 shares on market at an avg price of $1.072.
7 Trading days later on the 17th of August, Chalice announced "Significant Extension of High-Grade Zones at Julimar" sending the price up 25%.
I don't know what the directors motivations are for selling the shares, but I think its more of a personal decision rather than one driven by concerns in the company's future. After all, Morgan Ball only sold half of the exercised shares and still acquired 250,000 shares.
