Agree. I don't expect to see any decent dividends from normal business of 2024 result, unless we see a massive increase in the coal price and/or massive increase in output. To me it's clear they are struggling with cash flow, not making enough, outlayed too much money in dividends, still haven't paid the ATO (as at Dec23). They will still make a profit, but they need cash to pay a dividend. Based on the Half Year report, they are spending more than they are collecting, even if you exclude the dividend paid.

They may give us a small 'thank you' dividend after 2024 audit has been completed (i think the only way they can do this is if they have paid the ATO off in full), but nothing significant. They do need improve their output, the last couple of years have been a failure in my opinion.

If they do manage to sell off RSA operations, which it sounds like they are keen to offload, than we may see a special dividend. But I think they may be struggling to find a willing buyer at the price they want to sell, just a hunch/speculation. Mainly because they have floated the idea of selling RSA now for a few years.

It is always 'good' to see directors with skin in the game. I wonder why the other directors are not filling up though, if it is one, seems a bit odd. If all of them are doing it, something good is about to happen.
