Actually the performance rights contract is from Tech mpire days. He was issued the performance right shares and has now chosen to exectue them. It's not just a contract for nothing..
The recent performance right issue is based around the agreement made years ago.
So actually your interpretation of the contract and not needing them to be paid customers. I am not sure if you knew that or not? The structure is not out of whack.

You don't know why share holders would vote to allow performance rights issued for signing 3 tier 1 clients? Maybe you were unaware of the rules around the issue. Not sure if knowing all the facts has changed your mind or not.
Either way each to their own.. If your opinion is that it's for "nothing" you are entitled to that.
