Another reason directors may be selling now is that they will need to come up with $75k to $150k in the next few months to exorcise their Mayo's and this may be the last time they will have the opportunity to do so with what is expected.
Most of us with a portfolio of Mayo will need to sell some May shares to raise the funds for conversion in due course, but we are not subject to black out periods.
