Hi Kipper, I humbly beg to differ. In my opinion, Rare earths are performng significantly better than silver stocks!
NTU (Northern Minerals) Rare earths explorer had a CR last year at 20 cents. When China placed a ban on exports of rare earths to the US, NTU spiked at 37 cents. When Trump backed down (TACO style, Trump Always Chickens Out), NTU has retreated, but at 26/27 cents today, it is still well above the CR price, whereas MMA closed at 22 cents, well below the CR at 26.5 cents and in spite of a protracted rally in the silver price since the CR. It isn hardly an encouraging sign!
Then there is CHW, rare earths explorer in Malawi. Joined the ASX in 2023 at 20 cents, Last CR was oversubscribed at 86.5 cents. Did slip below the CR price for a period, but closed today at 90 cents. Has the advantage that the cornerstone investor is a major player in engineering who will build the mine, whereas MMA still has that hurdle to overcome, funding to build the mine.
If I wasn't so below water in MMA, I would have changed horses into rare earths some time back!
