Its not fast enough. You do not have infinity to get it right. Patents run down, new products are being developed, new techniques, etc. Covid represented a rare opportunity but the moment is now gone.
I have pretty much moved on from this end of the market these days, but still look at the stocks I once had an interest in. To put it simply you can't be unlucky for this long. When I realized that I bit the bullet and moved on.
And yes year end tax loss selling is around, plenty of money has been made over the last 12 months and as an under performer UCM will be used to offset these gains. Once again, the lack of liquidity bites.
