Looks like the CEO knew what was going to happen and yet the Chairman and one Board member were unaware of what the CEO was up to operationally and in regards his own trading activities. In addition the other Board member was a member of the board sub-committee referred to as the Audit and Risk Committee. Is there a blackout period? Was the Audit and Risk Committee aware of the risk profile across portfolio's let alone the listed entity own risk management and ensuring they complied with the respective PDS's and TMD's for each portfolio. Unlikely as they would deem that detail that others are responsible for. Did each portfolio disclose cross-holdings within each Funds Manager or with related parties owned or controlled by the ASX listed entity. Should be all clearly set out in the Governance Statement of course so no need to inquire further huh...Yup there exists both a Risk Management Policy and a Securities Trading Policy and they are published, authorised late last year and active. But do they comply and do they do more than skim and approve???
Suprised the share price has risen back up but then who cares about risk management and executive officers seemingly timely coincidental trading activities....not anyone at RPL it seems.
The current price is most likely fully priced for RPL on the basis of its fundamentals, its governance quality and its revised brand reputation.
