The big boys get free shares and options anyway so why bother putting a lot of their own money in? No point really. Even factory workers in some big companies receive interest free loans for shares with the loans not having to be paid back until they sell the shares or leave the company. BHP used to give us a thousand shares a year interest free back in the 90s when the price was about 5 bucks. God knows how many bags that is today with all the share buybacks they have done since then.
