Hanwha has just recently stuck a shovel in the ground to start the construction of their victorian facility.

I can recommend a good sharemarket therapist.Again if I was Rheinmetall and had invested approx $170m in qld facility,bought a 50% share of an Australian sme and included supa shock,cablex etc into their global supply chain,exported 250 turrets to Hungary I would also be holding off on Z grade certification until phase 3 result.Yes I could understand the German authority may have issues if Hanwha wins.
Tho only 2 issues for me is the potential effects of energy.I did receive a call back but I was advised their was no change to guidance but obviously energy 'was a hot topic'.
In hindsight I wish I had of asked the question in a different way such as 'how is 2H 22 looking compared to 2H 21,because guidance is for increased profitability for FY22 over FY21.
The problem with that is 2H eps only needs to be approx 3 cents for bis to increase profitability in FY22.
2H 21 eps was approx 12 cents,so that is the issue for me regarding bis.
ps the interesting part is the regional steel sector is a high priority for the greens,labor and the nsw govt because they all understand manufacturing in Australia requires steel,'green steel' especially for lge scale renewable steel projects.The question is do these govts understand energy is a serious cost for bsl/bis to be competitive.?
That new energy Australia woolongong gas/electricity plant requires gas to generate the electricity for the woolongong industrial sector.
This is a concern for me 2H eps,energy costs and energy costs going forward.
ps i tried to get some comments regrading FY23 but understandably he could not respond.

BIS released it's unaudited preliminary financial results on 21 July last year, just a two page summary but very useful so hoping we get the same this year.
