I spoke to Phil a couple of years ago in a sh's meeting at Crown casino and found him to be very optimistic on AUL's future...

I said "gold is at highs and we should be going hand over fist to JORC up some form of resource so we can go to market with confidence that for XYZ we have this much gold in the ground that we can dig up and turn into cash".....This way we would create new sentiment and new holders to push up the SP and with that opens up other avenues that we can go and find new feed..

He agreed that volume and sentiment was low but he was encouraged that AUL's position in the market is to low, He reckons within a few months we should see a change with profitability being gained...

He mentioned about a monthly newsletter to holders to keep everyone up to date with whats occurring and i said yes that would be good but holders waiting monthly to know whether we have made money this month or the next isnt going to set the price on fire...

Now if we cannot JORC how about stating the tonnage thats mined and sent to stock pile each month, that way we know how much feed we have to run the plant and we can make our own assessments on future profits...
I said from AUL's inception sh's have never known how much feed we have at any one time and that creates uncertainty, if we know the tonnage before it goes in the plant and that keeps getting regular updates then that would bring back sentiment and the volume would follow....

Also he said that they are not going to raise money and be a pump and dump of the stock , they dont have to, if they go after "bigger"infantry they have plenty of offers to JV or tip in at a later stage....

One thing he did mention was that if they make profit and maintain this method monthly and they build up monies in the bank and the SP is lagging then he would consider a dividend to existing holders to reward loyalty and keep sentiment with long termers upbeat.

After speaking to him and knowing a way forward that will work(albeit slowly)i have changed my sentiment from being a pissed off holder to now holding with more confidence..

He listened to acting on the NOW and capitalising on the gold price and he is in discussions with brokers and alike to get some traction near term...

All in all they have a plan and it will evolve and he does welcome comments good or bad from holders and is approachable.....

I am glad he took the time to call and maybe this wont go to the moon anytime soon but i can see good upside from here if he keeps ticking a few boxes that he mentioned will happen soon....

Did you ask him why he didn't turn up as promised on HC to answer investors' questions a while back?
Or when or if ever he expected to transition to a mid tier miner? Easier to have a private conversation with a couple of supporters who won't ask the hard questions.
Didn't even bother to retract the offer but I know he respects shareholders and is working hard on their behalf.
