I appreciate that all of the Torque directors have been buying TOR shares in the market in recent weeks. Not huge amounts of money involved but more than beer money and it does show some personal commitment to the company and its shareholders. For a pure spec play Torque's market cap at about $12m is not distressingly low but for whatever reason it seems to attract very little retail interest and so continues to have pitifully low scrip liquidity.
I am content to hold my dabble in this stock mainly for its high grades and the fact that it is in a district that can deliver small but wonderfully profitable mining opportunities. With the gold price so high it must be tempting for them to toll treat the 35k oz or so they know they have in the Paris pit and see what happens after that.
