Better check this with your accountant. I have not transfered any property into SMSF before, so I have no idea about that. But I have transfered half of my DRE shares into SMSF off the market, so I know I have to pay the capital gain tax even I dont really get any profit on hand. The value of the shares is calculated at the share price on the date these shares being transfered. If your age is over 60, then your SMSF is tax free on capital gain tax.
Better check this with your accountant. I have not transfered...
