One more positive to note is that AS1 Spat supply is from particular waters in Tasmania which haven't ever been affected by POMS, even though there was a massive outbreak there a few years back. This is a good sign, as to me, it shows the further unlikeliness of POMS disease to hit AS1 farms, even if POMS became a prominent issue in the area. The spread has a lot to do with the type of oysters.
