Generally if a founder wants to sell a chunk they will do it at a discount to get it done in an instant, but if investors are approaching the company then there shouldn't really need to be a discount to the current share price.
I agree that this should be good for the company overall, but if I had bought shares at $1.665 on the same day I'd be a bit annoyed.
