FMG should 100% just buy that tenement off EQN and add it to Solomon operations but there are 2 issues which may be why they wouldn't...
FMGs relationship with the traditional custodians around Solomon is famously poor and so they might get nothing but resistance to any operation even if they did buy it and 2 - the proximity upstream to a nationally famous natural wonder in Hamersley Gorge means any operations would be under huge environmental scrutiny. You cant hinder flow into that river system and you can engineer solutions so you dont of course but its a consideration and a pain.
I love EQN and I'm hoping it does great things but I know this area and I'm just being devils advocate on the Iron ore tenement at Hamersley
