My thoughts are maybe he's hedging his bets. He genuinely doesn't know the outcome of the up coming trials and his trading window is not that wide. He can't sell them the day before a trading halt or financial update. So now is as good a time as any. Personally I would have more faith, but maybe $2m is a lot to leave on the table, and he still has plenty. Who knows, he may have other shares he wants to buy to balance his portfolio, or he may have a tax bill to pay.
