Out of all the holdings I have had, it is extremely rare to see anyone in management actually PAY for shares. If I had to put a probability compared to how many are involved with the running of the companies I'd say 1/17-20 managers/board exec's would do it. Most expect a swag of them for just showing up to work on top of their pay regardless of performance. It just doesn't happen in this country on the ASX. It's a good habit every shareholder should encourage. I wish they would just be more I tolerate of the deadweight that accounts for 90% of nearly every listed company and the performance shares that get handed out like tic-tac's. Accountability is a 6 syllable word that seems to not exist in ASX listed companies.
