Looking at the remuneration report from the Redflow 2019 Annual Financial Report I took just one example from page 15.

Tim Harris, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, salary and fees $431,921 excluding any other payments, superannuation etc.

@BRAGG you wrote "Directors fees have been reduced 27%" so that means Tim will contribute about $116,618.67 towards development of the Gen3 battery development if the temporary reduction is extended to one year, or half that, about $58,309 if the reduction is only for 6 months, however long temporary is. So yes $1000 is a bit token by comparison to that forgone salary contribution.

Others will contribute less, because they are paid less, but in all instances their reductions in take home salary will rather dwarf the contribution of capital from their share purchases.

On the face of it the share purchases of some are bit small, a few combined rather less than our small double dip but I for one do not begrudge them not having bought more. The only return they might get on their salary sacrifice might be a smaller value salary bonus or salary increase and an increase in their share holding values if this all works out.
